Dolphin species becomes extinct!

One of the only Dolphin species able to survive in fresh water rivers has disappeared here in our lifetime. Rare White Dolphin Declared As Extinct - washingtonpost.com I remember as a kid the history of the Dodo bird. Dodo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Even though the bird had succumbed hundreds of years ago, it was made as huge news in elementary school in the 60's. Now extinction is becoming common place in our world. http://extinctanimals.petermaas.nl/ When will we see that the Billions of dollars we spend on war could be put to better use in trying to save our environment? Halliburton be damned! Halliburton Watch

Speaking of saving the environment, do you think we will ever find a way to save the people of Darfur and other regions from genocide?

Why is it our job to do so?

I was speaking of "we" -- the people of the world, not "we" -- The United States of America.

The reason it would be good for the world to stop genocide and other forms of mass murder is that any of us, or our descendents, may someday need help from becoming victims of such horrors. Helping others now may help protect ourselves later.

Richard, admit it. If the loss of a dolphin species meant more union jobs, you would quietly be buying up shitloads of dolphin unsafe tuna.

Just the thought of going into grievance arbitration on the backs of dead dolphins gets you excited.

Why not have kofi anon do something. After all, he was such a raging success with the united nations that he could certainly do it!

*snicker*

Snickering is easy. Try doing something useful. That's generally a lot harder. Don't believe it? Ask Kofi Annan.

Kofi didn't do anything besides embezzle money.

I hear you Richard, it does seem that all that money could be put to better use, Halliburton be damned!

12:27pm-You are a sick puppy. I think we are at a point where we need to try to heal our environment. And there are times where you need radical environmental groups to offset radical corporations that pillage our earth.
