Disputing your facts is not the issue. Quite the opposite. Global warming doesn't predict the entire globe will evenly warm. There will be extremes and they will get worse. People on the Right Coast were saying last winter, "I've got nine inches of global warming right here" as snow fell. They have the other side of the coin now. Overall, the globe is warming.
Proof there is no global warming?

They started calling it global climate change because uninformed people thought 'global warming' meant it gets hotter everywhere. Not so. Weather systems across the globe go haywire, but overall global temperatures rise. Some regions, for example, will experience harsher winters.
It's difficult to predict how each region will react, but a later summer in a region that doesn't experience much of a summer to begin with... wouldn't surprise me.
It's been shitty in Cutten too. We were just saying yesterday that there has really been no summer yet.
Not sure why they call it Global Warming. It's more about extreme changes in temperature vs. the standard trend.
It's funny how folks point out it's cold, then discredit the science. Little do they know their actually helping to prove it's existence!
What they said above.
Proof that it's happening could be that you noticed it.
I just want everyday to be Friday and everyday be clear and sunny. Is that too much to ask?
Richard,
You should be thankful that you have a cool place. I just returned from Reno 95 everyday and nowhere to get cool. If you want the Sun just go twenty miles east.
I was just telling my wife the other day, "Now this is how Summers used to be when I was a little kid."
At least it's good for the redwoods...
..Stop your whinning and put on a sweater!!
I guess we are in for more cold with the global warming. Maybe we will have more snow this year. I am a little tired of the fog but when it is hot in Willow Creek it is always foggy here.
Was up in Oregon today and it was sunny on the coast. Maybe I should just move there to get some sun except for the higher property taxes (LOL).
The semantics of nomenclature. How many winter mornings you have to scrape ice off your windshield 'round these here parts lately compared to forever before the last decade? I didn't have to scrape ice off my windshield at 8 am at all the past few years. Prolly only a few times over the last 5 or so years combined. It'd always been the thing to do every morning before I'd go to work.
Richard - refute your facts about Samoa, or the globe? How about a chunk of ice four times the size of Manhattan breaking off from Greenland?

Granted, both of us is citing purely anecdotal evidence. But I think mine is a little more compelling. Of course, I am biased in favor of my own arguments.
Want a laugh, google Jesse Ventura, global warming and conspiracy
Lodgepole....that's exactly what I keep saying.
Lodgepole and Kristabel, that's what I keep on saying!
er, that's what Ekovox says, too.
Global Warming means whatever the World-Wide Elitists say it means. You peasants, just shut up and get back to work! No unions for you, either, you ingrates!
Eric Kirk forgot to mention the big chunk of ice that broke off is the largest such chunk that has broken off - since the last one did FIFTY YEARS AGO.
Thank you very much for your content relating to this subject, it had been very useful.
