Fried, smoked, broiled, baked, open fire or BBQed, makes no difference to me. How to Cook Turkey I'm just in it for the family and football! Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Stuffed with wood chips and smoked in the Samoa haze.
Although I have never tried the Safeway 2 hour turkey that they are furnishing directions for cooking a turkey in a short time, it sounds like it works.
Don't try this at home - worked with a woman who brought in some of her turkey leftovers and asked everyone to try a little as she couldn't figure out why it was awful. Had a very bad taste. I asked her what she had done to the turkey and as far as seasonings, etc. I had done the same thing. Then she said that she had a lot of trouble getting the turkey rinsed - she had washed it with liquid dishwashing soap poured on it inside and outside. I always think of this every year when I am rinsing my bird with cold water and wonder how many others have done the same thing.

Have a happy turkey day y'all.
Boy! If something you are cooking tastes bad, the last thing to do is have everybody in the house have a taste of it.
C'mon. It's the holidays. No slander.

Me, cooking a duck---the old fashion way...
enjoy......
Roasted and stuffed with sauerkraut (with juniper berries).
Brined and roasted. Standard stuffing - croutons, broth, onions, celery, sausage, giblets, spices...
Nothing like the classics, though I will try the oyster/cornbread/chestnut recipe one of these years.
Capped with my wife's famous walnut pie. Mmmm.
And Mickey's beer to wash it all down! MMMMMM.
