Cindy Sheehan calls it quits!

Top News - Anti-War Mom Gives Up on Peace Movement - AOL News Sad news of despair and hopelessness. Saying that America is more concerned with American Idol than the illegal occupation in Iraq has more Truth than most want to admit.

The reality of the war has hit my neighborhood again lately. Derek Weatherbee, one of the kids I coached Basketball with my oldest son has been called back to Iraq for the third time. I have worked with Derek's father Ed for nearly thirty years and Derek's uncle Doug is one of my best friends. It just wrong for us to be there. And more people now than ever would agree. But we are still there, and the outcry grows dimmer. And each party is practicing politics as usual. Sad but true.

Cindy who?

She was the lefts kleenex, now that they've wiped their ass with her and have thrown her to the curb she's trying to hold onto some non-existent dignity and pretend she's bowing out
"gracefully".

Course she's about as graceful as rosie and mikey at an all you can eat buffet.

Left in Vietnam
Appearing during the first three hours, former NC congressman Bill Hendon and attorney Elizabeth Stewart, the authors of An Enormous Crime, discussed the evidence for a sizable group of American POWs being left behind in Vietnam. Hendon said that after the war, a deal was cut to pay billions to North Vietnam for rebuilding their country and returning the remaining POWs. But as the Watergate scandal broke, Nixon and Kissinger reneged on the arrangement, and around 700 prisoners were kept in Vietnam.

Stewart said she has worked for 20 years in Washington DC to uncover the truth about the POWs, and there has been much intelligence that has referenced the missing soldiers. Specifically, Hendon noted spy satellite photographs, one of which (see below) showed "USA" spelled out in 12 ft. tall letters in a rice field, along with a 24 ft. tall "Walking K" – an "escape and evasion" code only known to US pilots in N. Laos.

Hendon commented that in the early 80's, Reagan tried to get the POWs back, but advisors talked him out of it. By 1992, an investigation chaired by McCain and Kerry concluded there were no American refugees left in Vietnam. Stewart and Hendon believe there could be as many as 500-600 POWs still alive there, and that the US government is engaged in a cover-up of the evidence for their existence.

Good way to cop out Richard, critique the two party system of evil, then sell yourself out to it for a seat on Democrat Central Committee just so you too can hobnod with the elitists.

Harmony is not teh subject here. The article I posted is from C2C. A geust they had on last night has written a book about it. It is a FACT! Why is nothing being done. You leftists supposedly care for the suffering of soldiers. YET! There are soldiers in east asia that have been suffering for 30+ years!

Goddammit sicknick! You don't get it! You are incapable of love! You have no emotions! No sexuality! No hopes! No dreams! You are a MISTAKE! No one likes you or ever will! Do everyone a favor and get off the internet! Find a couch near a tv and spend the rest of your miserable life watching tv! Life was never meant for you!

I heard Bravo was doing Emma the enchantress during kinetic weekend.

Just because someone wrote a book about something doesn't make it a fact, Bravo. Do you believe everything you read?

Can't Nick be banned from all the blogs?

One thing is for sure, people will long remember the name and the inspiration of Cindy Sheehan, while Nick Bravo is merely a fake name of Ryan Fenster, who has inspired precisely nobody and who will not be remembered by any name soon enough when he blows away like dust and is quickly forgotten.

the lady lost her mind, so I give her a pass but she's nuts. to bad for her and her family. worse yet that the leftists used her too.

12:11, if you think the the Democratic Central Committee are elitist you must be "hobnod"ing with the wrong crowd.

12:11pm- What is kind of ironic and funny is today I went to lunch with a Humboldt County millionaire Republican at Rita's who paid and then my wife Robin and I went to Big Louie's with a different Humboldt millionaire Republican couple who paid. Not too many elitist millionaire Democrats around. Although Greg and Carol are on our list for Pizza in Ferndale. I am not sure if they are how much they are worth! Robin and I are proud thousandaires. Hey wait! Is there no money in our 401! RoooBBBiIInn!

Exactly Richard. You have abandoned the grassroots progressives in exchange for the moneyed interests of the corrupt two-party system of control. It's pathetic.

Samoa-concur. And a roll of stamps is a major capital investment now. Thank you for your service..

8:08-I abandoned the progressives? The millioniares I ate with yesterday have been friends of mine for decades! I have been a progressive liberal Democrat openly and publically for many years! Elitist? I am just a commoner. Blue collar, middle class, blah everyday joe just trying to get by. And have fun along the way.

Aren't you the social butterfly Richard

This got way offffff the mark. I'm unhappy with the war in Iraq but Cindy Seehan is a piece of dung. And he was only her biological son.

Just today I talked to Ed Weatherbee about Derek being called back. And how much it sucks that some are being called back so many times, and Ed sharing his feelings about watching the news and other sources about Dereks squadron. One time a Helicopter went down and he had not heard from Derek and had heard the details that a cpter went down from Dereks squad and the panic that ensued until he had heard from Derek. That sucks! I don't care how you feel about the war, it is getting to close to home for us all!

That's why it would be a nice idea for Richard to break out of the typical smug liberal DemoCentCom mold and stop himself from making light of homelessness. Many of our homeless are themselves injured veterans!

Cindy Sheehan has more balls than George W. Bush will ever have. It takes a real man to go AWOL from the Alabama National Guard!
