The Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District will have their regularly scheduled meeting Jan. 15th at 9am. The meeting will be held at their 828 Seventh Street, Eureka, California location. Not Eureka City Hall! There is limited seating so come early. The discussion on Evergreen is on the agenda for 10:30am, but you should come and watch their public process in full.

Do you mean the Katlin Cobberaldo Bolg controlled water board? The one where Rupp slobbers over the little radical queens every word? The one with the new world famous water scientist? I can hardly wait.
"North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board". not to be confused with the Humboldt water district. In the past I feel that the local water district has been on our side. (people) The North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board is the state and they have spent many tax dollars to show how inept they are at seeing the grave consequences of there actions.
Kaitlin is only one member of the board of directors. That is why we must go to the meetings and express our feelings. The people of Humboldt must express ourselves of what WE want. It is our process, and we must tell them what we want. The board answers to us, we do not answer to them.
It would be nice to see several employees of the Pulp Mill Stand up and express their feelings. It seems that the smell of blood is in the water and the sharks are looking to totally destroy the mill.

Today's Times Standard has a "Notice of Bulk Sale." Samoa Acquisition Corporation (Robert Simpson) is set to acquire Evergreen February 5.
