So now the head execs of Evergreen all live right next to each other.Buy a house in that little niche Richard and you'll be kept in the loop.
I am a self avowed Sand Dweller. Can't seem to find my way off the peninsula.
More imporantly, is OH's closing??
Yup, no conflict of interest there. It's not like Eureka is affected at allllll by all that stinky carcinogen ""steam"" belching out of the pulp mill.
Is it any different than the stinky carcinogen ""steam"" belching out of the OH's?

Larry will be next to get a job at Evergreen? Are you keeping up with the posts?
as long as Evergreen is not in the city---you go Virginia--for waiting tables and running a steak house does have its down falls....
Welcome to the pulp world....

Keep on drinking that Hatorade 1:36...
Gaack do you even KNOW what constitutes a conflict of interest?
Yo...
What happend to Rex?
He got Bohned
Hey Richard...
A little MODERATION on this here blog can be a good thing ya know..
Yo...
That's the best news I've heard this week.
Virginia is a great choice for Spin Doctor . . . I mean PR Director. She's good at talking out of both sides of her mouth and schmoozing with rich business people.
chief of police purchased house next door
Richard, if you are close to pulling it off, for Gods sake man stop pulling on it.
Can someone enlighten me on Virgina Bass and her political/professional background? Just Curious, being that I'm relatively new to Eureka..
Yes, it's true Rex is a Bohn-head.
Yes, Virginia, Garr, and Rex all live next to one another in a very affordable neighborhood. Rex stole his house for $375,000 in April of 2004. Virginia and husband paid $550,000 for their new house in April of 2006, and chief of police Garr paid a mere $500,000 for his hovel in August of 2007.
8:35am-Pretty much the going rate for a decent house in Eureka. I have seen homes going for nearly $400,000 with as little as 1,000 sq ft. Ten years ago who would have thunk. I would have bought every Pierson home I could for around $75,000, and now they would be worth over $300,000. I could have retired by now.
Richard, give me an example of a home that sold for for $400,000 with only 1000sf. Also, the typical Pierson homes is not selling for $300,000; try $200,000 to $250,000.
So what your saying is: If I bought two Piersin himes in 1997 for $75,000 (I think my family sold one that year less than $70,000) They would only be worth a total of $500,000? So I would only be worth $350,000 more after these last 10 years? I would take that.
(Seen house in Henderson Center selling for around $360,000 a year ago or so.)
The amount of profit would totally depend on what condition the houses were in and where they were located. If you maintained them in typical sand-dweller fashion they would probably be worth about $175K each but that would still leave you with a hefty profit of $200,000, or $20,000 per year before taxes and sale expenses.
Our house was recently appraised at 285K and our place is 1000sqft. We do live in a nice part of Eureka near Henderson center and we've invested in a new roof, bamboo floors, landscaping, and new paint inside and out. So just for reference..
excuse me it was appraised at 258K, got my numbers switched..
Will Virginia Bass be taking any undisclosed campaign trips illegally on the corporate jet?
You - Reeka It's all Methed up! How is that for a new city Moto?
Hope Rex isn't busy planning another miserable poltical run. I dont know if he could take another butt kicking like Kerrigan gave him!
