I am now over a half a century old.

Today was my 50th birthday. Robin and I celebrated by taking our PT to Harper's for brake maintenance. (We went to lunch at Angelo's buffet.) We then worked on our house in Henderson Center. It is a rental that is 2 bedroom 1 and a half bath with a family room. I have been re-doing all the plumbing and basic clean up from the last renter. It started to rain, so we could not do basic outdoor touch up paint or the roofing maintenance I wanted to do.

We ended up late for the Communication and Education Committee (CEC) for the HCDCC but were forgiven. We had great discussion on many issues. I will touch on some in the next few days.

Last weekend my sister Michelle and niece Victoria hosted a theme BBQ birthday party for me in Fair Oaks. They had all sorts of baseball themed decorations all over the place. I was so blessed to have all my nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers there to have a good time. I did not deserve all the attention, but it was awesome. I have the greatest family support. (The party broke down into a huge pool party!)

Nick, you freak. All you are doing is ruining Richards birthday. Back to your hole!

No, no! You celebrate Nick. You deserve it. And yes Richard deserves it too! Both of you have been bombarded by evil, pure evil. No one will dare to go near you now Nicholas! Nobody! Anon.r.coward has met his doom. Soon he will be nothing but shadows and dust. Soon! Yes! Finally! Bwhahahahah!

Happy Birthday Richard, are you going to be renting that house out soon? If so how much. You know me.
Not really looking but always looking for a decent priced house in Henderson Center to rent.

Hey richard, any truth to the Anon.R and Charles Douglas Love in?

It's a real shame to watch Nick Bravo so desperate to steal someone else's well-deserved congratulations with his many named and anonymous comments which only seek to hurt people. Nick, do you ever wonder why not one single person on Earth sends you a birthday card?

Samoa Softball, Happy Birthday!

Angelos.....yum! Remember when they had nearly 12 locations all over the county and in Redding and Santa Rosa? We went there after every Babe Ruth baseball game.

Nick is creepy as all hell.

Welcome to the club, Richard. I turned 50 in March. We can still play (soft) ball with the 20-and-30-somethings though, hey?

Barry said I should contact you about your over-50 team. But then he pulled out his $500, triple-wall bat (legal only in the 50+ leagues I'm told) and began telling me about all the players he's maimed with it. So, I think I'll stick with the two coed teams I'm on right now, where single-wall bats are a pitcher's best friend.

Anyway, happy birthday!

Tim: $950 a month. The house has a huge yard with a plum and apple tree. 200 sq ft usable basement. 2 bed one family room 1 and 1/2 bath.

Andrew: If you want to try the senior league out, we play next Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm at PU. My team is a "gutty" 0-12. We are playing for fun. You are welcome to join us.

Carol: It is going to be a great year! Lot's of stuff politics wise.

Andrew Bird said...

Thanks, Richard. Perhaps you'll give me a tryout next season. This year I'm on two co-ed teams and already have 2-3 games per week. Take care and good luck!

Keep playing softball, and delete the trolls (it's just like tagging out a laggard).

Ok, I've gotta ask: which is the better buffet, Angelo's or Big Louie's?

samoasoftball said...

Angelo's and Big Louie's are both great! But I do love the wings and rolls at Angelo's.

Please don't let Carson Park Ranger/Joel Mielke go around "tagging" anyone, that's how STD's pass around with the boys at Azalea Park you know.

Richard, you are ancient. Do you use a cane or a walker to run the bases?

Mr. Mountain Lion said...

Richard, you're not nearly as fast as that toddler I'm stalking. I don't suppose you could be lured into the woods with a pint of ice cream...eh?

Mr. Mountain Lion said...

Hey Richard! Check out my blog!

Anonymous said...

So Nick Bravo has another anonymous attack blog set up for himself under the fake "Mr. Mountain Lion"...how ugly can this little twerp get with his insane stalking?

Anonymous said...

How the hell is he stalking anyone? He wanders the streets begging for scraps and then hangs out at hsu typing out nasty little things on a computer.

Pathetic behavior yes, but certainly not stalking.

Anonymous said...

Cyberstalking, it's for real.

Anonymous said...

Disagreeing with people and insulting them is NOT stalking.

Anonymous said...

No Nick, following people around on the blogs saying you were their roommate and slept with them when you didn't and she wouldn't (as is the case with Harmony Groves) is the very definition of stalking.

Anonymous said...

Nick isn't following harmony around on the blogs. Doubt Harmony even visits the blogs...her trolls probably, but not harmony.

So when is Hank Sims going to do that story in the North Coast Journal about Nick Bravo being anon.r.mous?

Anonymous said...

As unbelievably as it sounds, some things are even beneath Sims and the Journal. They only bother with libeling those they consider a threat to the Arcata Mafia. Nick is only a threat to his latest stalking victim.

Anonymous said...

I thought Hank Sims and The North Coast Journal usually slandered Rob Arkley's political opponents. Isn't that why Arkley lets the NCJ use his extremely expensive color press for cheap? Doesn't the Arcata Eye get the same deal from Arkley?

Anonymous said...

I've never been able to figure out how the Arcata Eye stays in business. They charge $1 an issue, and if you look closely in Arcata you'll notice that the Arcata Eye barely sells any issues at all. And it's in color! The rumor about Arkley being Kevin Hoover's sugar daddy is absolutely true, no matter how loud Hoover screams in denial of the obvious. The Arcata Eye uses Arkley's very expensive color press for cheap. Arkley subsidizes the Arcata Eye. That's the way it is, whether Kevin Hoover wants the truth publicized or not. And don't forget the Arcata Eye and North Coast Journal's history of attacking Arkley's political opponents. No coincidence there. No matter how many lies Hank Sims tells.
