Tammy Falor Revisited.

Oh. The Time Standard editorial board goes after David Elsebusch. Times-Standard Online - How about openness by everyone?

The focal point the TS should not lose sight of is the $280,000 of public money that was given as compensation for something the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors or their staff must have done illegally to avoid litigation by Ms. Falor. Simple as that. With no wrongdoing, there would be no pay off.

Now TS staff, go do your job and hold someone accountable! Picking on David is your lazy way out, and a chance to take further pot shots at the Eureka Reporter and Arkley. It is getting old and tired.

Richard, don't you see the irony? If it were any other lawfirm questions may not have been raised.

Dang! I admit that Heraldo has a point.

The bigger issue is that the TS and the rest of the media for that matter haven't been able to penetrate the smokescreen on the Falor pay off.

This business of being a 'personnel' matter does not/should not extend to huge gushers of public hush money.

5:40pm-And that is what is. Our tax paying dollars going out as "hush" money. Why? Man I sure would like to know.

Falor knew that Bonnie was having secret meetings in a local motel room with Mark. Were there bodily fluids being exchanged? The walls have ears. Secrets and favors don't come cheep. Don't forget John listening at the door hoping to find the nexus for his own tribal donations. Mark heraldo riviera uses the same attorney's over and over. No irony there.

Did anyone ever find out why Scott resigned from Eureka City Schools? I know he left with a large chunk of money too. Too much secrecy with public funds and the ever lame excuse of it being a "personnel matter".

Don't ask, don't tell. Redevelopment and school funding caused poor Bonnie to meet with Mr. Scott in yet another seedy motel room. Don't ask, don't tell. Its all swill.

Follow the back room deals and you will find out.

Bonnie and John have to protect themselves and others - higher up on the ladder - the falor fiasco was completely orchestrated by them.

They are pushing a new agenda and will stand for nothing to get in their way.

Heard this funny noise in hotel room next to me the other night. I couldn't believe my ears it was Wes and Bonnie cutting cheese. I was paying a hooker for sex on my birthday. The irony was not lost. An equitable exchange in my room. Two dishonest whores in the other room.

It was just a quarter million dollars! What's the big deal? The county has plenty of money.

Here's to all of you that voted for Bonnie! Look what it gets you.

I think Richard said it best - Our tax paying dollars going out as "hush" money.

The question is:

Who wanted her fired and why? and why is it so important that she stay shut up about it?

Someone at the county did something that caused her to be able to threaten the county with a lawsuit and demand money. I would like to know who that was and what it was about. Also heard TF had asked for more than the $289,000 but settled for that amount.

Enquiring minds want to know

I still want to know why! $289,000.00 is allattadoe!

Bonnie's got negitives of Woolley's woody buried deep inside Tammy's massive mellons. There's some real political posturing.

So after you are all done getting your rocks off I will hit at the heart of what Marks said that pisses me off. I'm sorry but "picking on David Elsebusch"? Can such a thing be done to an old crotchety bastard like that? Him and his wife together like to think they are REALLY important so they hijack public meetings with their ranting and raving on a regular basis. Sometimes I even agree with David's point of view but he comes the majority of the time he is so in your face about his opinion I don't even want to be on the same side as him. And I think that is the point here. Everyone is mad about the county paying out hush money, everyone wants to know what the fuck they think they are doing — but forcing them to retreat further behind a CYA curtain by filing a lawsuit is not the way to go. Jesus that just throws more public funds at this whole fiasco.
Marks, it is obvious to me that you are some sort of personal friend to Elsebusch but a whipping post he is not.

Even if David was wrong 99 % of the time,(which he's not), he's right on this. If the 1% is right on ,you support him on it. Hell he's batting just as good or better than our board of stupidvisors are. This suit could force the county and other GO's to minimize their closed door sessions. That alone would be a good thing and makes David the man on this one.

3:05pm- You a writer for the TS by chance? I bet u r.

Anonymous said...

I so disagree with 3:05. There is no way to get this information without enforcing the Brown act and unless you file a lawsuit the board will not and has not in the past complied. This is about transparency in government which is what at least 3 members of the board do not want. Your view of the world seems rather limited if you are really taking the position that "right" will make them change their minds and come clean.

Dave and Penny are the nicest people in the world and deserve respect (even thought I hardly ever agree with them.) I don't know what Falor's annual salary was but I think I heard it was $140K which means the settlement is about par for the course. Let's move on.

If you think about what kind of issues end up behind closed doors and result in payoff settlements, you will be able to figure this out. You will also be on the path to understanding why it was kept under wraps, which under the circumstances would make sense no matter how much everyone one wants to know about where their tax money has gone.

How do you hijack a meeting? I would sure like to try and then bitch slap all of them into compliance. LOL

samoasoftball said...

This subject still disturbs me. I am not comfortable with the answers given. I have more questions.

When I'm reincarnated, I'd like to come back as Tammy's bra!

Richard, I don't have a problem with legal action being taken on this. I think we all want to know what happened. It was a lot of money.

But the Times-Standard has a point. Why doesn't he just disclose who is paying the legal expenses?

Anonymous said...

The TS doesn't have a good point shane.

It doesn't matter who is or isn't funding the suit. What matters is the content of the suit.
