Sick with the flu.

For the first time since I think 2000, I have the flu. (You only get to claim sick in our household if you are throwing up.) Had to call in sick at work for the first time since 1990. I am pretty fortunate that I have been blessed to be able to miss very little work. As luck would have it, I am working a 14 hour shift tonight, so I won't be losing too much in wages.

It seems that I have heard of alot of people getting sick this last week. Or is it just me? Robin thinks I may have had food poisoning. I thought I had a cast iron stomach. First day I can remember not being hungry in awhile.

Could be food poisoning. That's what you get for choosing quantity over quality. Low price and lots of food could equal lots of germs and bacteria.

Gee, maybe it's those 14 hour days?

Maybe Richard should quit eating those canned dog food sandwiches. Bad for the liver.

I hope you get well soon. I have all sorts of sinister progressive plots that I need your help with.

You haven't been eating pet food have you?

Maybe you're sick because your conflicted about helping shane with "sinister progressive plots".

Come clean! Part of you is REPUBLICAN! :p

Thank you for sharing, Richard. Have you tried the new Oriental Buffet in Fortuna, yet?

Eaten any of the packaged hamburger lately - the ones that come in round plastic bags? Read they are contaminated and have been recalled. Lots of restaurants actually use the prepackaged hamburger.

From what I hear, you don't have the dever and chills with food poisoning. I worked 14 hours last night and feel rotten today. Still have a few 12 hour shifts to go.

Go to Health sport and sit in the Sauna for an hour or so. It'll help your body recover.

Actually you may not have a fever, but with e-coli or campylobactor (sp?) you do. Better get over it soon as when I was in Eureka today, went by Marcelli's and low and behold a sign says Bev is serving breakfast there in the mornings. Get ready to eat again!

Don't remember the time for breakfast but you can probably call Marcelli's and they can tell you.
