Humboldt the Frozen Tundra? Second floor temp 47 degrees in the house!

Just arrived home from holidays at Sac Town. My sister Michelle hosted about 30 for a sit down Turkey and Prime Rib dinner. Awesome sis. When we came home I went upstairs and the Temperature probe said 47.3 degrees! BRRRRR! This last year has been COLD! We have broken so many record lows this year. But I am told this proves global warming. HMMMM.

Awww, Richard, that's only for the Kool-aid drinkers.

Check out the weather stations that are telling you it's warming - Google earth... Spotting NOAA’s USHCN climate stations with Google Street Level View...

This guy has a project going locating them all (they aren't as scientific as you'd think...)

If Rose lived 65 years ago she would be one of those people who denied the Holocaust, until it was too late.

It sounds to me like Rose is pretty well founded in reality. She is willing to accept scientific evidence, while there are a few too many people out there that have sipped Al Gores Cool-aide.

Some need the get past the willing acceptance that the sky is falling, and find out what is really happening with our world.

Thanks, Ernie. Like I said, if they really believe that Global warming is real, they should be figuring out what will be needed, and what businesses will do well in a warmer climate - farming will do well, plants will grow well, maybe a line of bikinis, or fans - refrigeration should do well (:)) - umbrellas, shade devices... but, no... it is all phony crap like 'carbon credits' - what a joke.

And if "Climate Change" means another mini ice age, do they really think they can stop it? Better be figuring out how to adapt, if it is real, not how we can charge and fine existing business. It's just another form of forced taxation/tithing.

Think of it this way, men used to figure out what they would need to do to survive, be it the cold winter, or a drought. They designed and built water towers and systems, heaters and such.

When looking at the threat of being bombed by Russia they built bomb shelters. They were still used to being self sufficient, and they stocked the shelters with home canned goods and dried goods.

If we had a major disaster that shut off the electricity, and thus our pumping stations, it would only be a week, three at the outside, that men like Ernie would be figuring out how to make those stations run, and how to help people get set up to survive. We'd likely pull together as a community.

Our government officials are supposed to have a disaster plan in place. It SHOULD include how to keep those water stations running, so that that period of figuring it out can be avoided if possible.

If you believe that either Global Warming or a mini Ice Age could be imminent, you should be figuring out how to survive it, what to put in place so that mankind can survive - whether it is shelters dug into the mountains where communities can go to live in spite of encroaching glaciers or building boats in case the seas rise.

No one is doing that. Which tells you that even those pushing the doomsday scenario know they are full of shit. they are just using this to gain control and money. Making you feel guilty, sending you to confessional and making you pay up to assuage your guilt. Put on the hair shirts and beat yourself until the welts rise on your back. turn off your thermostat and shiver in your home while your growhouse neighbor sucks up all the watts guilt-free.

Get ready for more and more government programs, none of which will help you or your family survive should a disaster really befall us.

Think about it. What is being done? Thinking you can prevent Global Climate change is like spitting into a category 5 hurricane. Better to have built a shelter.

"...it is just cold.".

True, but I'll have to say it does seem a bit warmer now than it did a week or two ago. I actually drove around with the windows to my truck open the last clear day we had.

Try burning some wood chips Richard. And by the way Rose, I'm not feeling guilty and I definitely not going to confessional. Church is for weak fucks, and religion and politics are the both the biggest lies going right now that allow the wealthy to stay wealthy at our expense.
