"The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office remains steadfast in its efforts to
disrupt the distribution of illicit narcotics, particularly fentanyl, which
poses a severe threat to public safety. HCSO notes that under current
California law, possession of fentanyl is often classified as a
“non-violent” offense, which can result in repeat offenders being released
from jail by Superior Court Judges to appear in court at a future date and
time. "

HCSO just issued a press release on two arrests.
If Aaron Stott's name sounds familiar, this is from April 2025.

And don't forget that this Saturday, at least I think it's this Saturday, the Humboldt Sheriff's Dept. takes on Eureka P.D. in a baseball game at Kennedy Field over by Sequoia Park.
It's some sort of fund raiser with proceeds going to CASA.
That's all I remember. Heard it mentioned on the radio.
Just as a side note: My team placed second at 12 under par 58. We finished second last year. Tony Stubbs, Rafael Herrera, Dave Damme and myself. Wait til next year!
Rafael is a sandbagger!
