Manila Speedway now open for business!

Gee, what a great idea to pave over the rail tracks at Emmerson! Now people won't have to slow down one iota while "shortcutting" and avoiding the 101 safety corridor. At least with the rail tracks in it served as a kind of "calming speed bump." Now it is off to the races! Be careful Peninsula pedestrians!

10:06am: I sure hope you are joking. Cal Trans needs to fix this problem. They have just given lip service and have not addressed the public safety concerns of the peninsula.

Caltrans may have done the paving illegally. They seem to be doing a number of local jobs on a whim with no notice of anything these days.
