Hey the other Richard, there was a Governor who decided that college was free...
Times have changed, then again maybe not....
Good old Cali--where we will be the leader in what ever our hearts desire ----oh, so much fun...
Its not Arnold...Arnold died on the slopes and now his body has been posessed by the Great Evil known as Hillary Clinton.
There will be the usual outrage over giving healthcare to illegal aliens...never mind that our hospitals go broke when they don't receive payment for services rendered. Sutter closing, General long gone, St Joes always in trouble.
Soon it won't matter if you do have health insurance-no beds available is common already.
It's a half measure that ostensibly will force insurance companies to offer something to everybody if they want a license in California. I much prefer single payer, and actually, I would much, much rather have a Sweden style social medical system. But we take what we can get and hope the consumer attorneys can shut down enough of the loopholes that some poor people might not have to die early deaths for lack of care.
Yeah, yeah, I know. They have the emergency rooms.
Aren't you sorry you didn't vote for the Governator now, Rich?
Fred: I am still waiting for all the details. While I was at work today I heard on the news that unions were opposed to the plan. I would not have voted for Arnold just for his anti worker legislation concerning workers comp.
