Look at how many of these are public entities. Look at how many public entities are being consumed by wage, benefit and pension costs - to the point that they have little money to do anything but fund their own bloated staffs.
I support unions but when are people going to wake up to the fact that we need our public entities to do more than just spend 80% plus of their operating budgets on personnel? We need roads paved. We need updated sewer infrastructure.
We don't need public agencies that act more as jobs programs.
