5 Busiest fast food drive tups in Eureka.

The opening of Church's Chicken has caused quite the stir lately, but here is the way to busy drive-ups in Eureka:

5. Wendy's on Broadway. This place has cleaned up its act over the years.
4. Jack in the Box on Broadway. Cheap Taco's!
3. Burger King on 5th Street. Been down this lane many times.
2. McDonald's on 4th Street. They will screw up your order!
1. Taco Bell on Broadway. Crazy busy all of the time. I just don't get it.

Honorable mention to Subway on 4th and McDonald's on Broadway.

The Taco Bell line is really amazing at all hours of the day and night. Everyone has a hankering for "the 4th meal"

But another crazy drive up is Jitterbean up by the Renner fuel station around T Street.

I will look at the two lines at McDonalds and Burger King and make my decision from a block away. I wish Hole In The Wall Sandwiches had a drive-thru. That lobby gets way too packed.

Taco Bell: Tasty, inexpensive food. I wish it wasn't on Broadway so I could go there more often (I only venture to Bdwy/101 if I have to).

Jack In The Box: Not impressed with what seemed to be their limited menu the one time I went there up here. Now that you've reminded me they sell cheap tacos, I'll have to try them.

Best tacos I've ever had were from the old A&W Root Beer in Burre Center. I've been looking for a good, inexpensive taco ever since.

Oh: What do you mean Wendy's has cleaned up its act over the years? I haven't been there in years but it seemed fine to me the few times I did.

We usually don't go through the drive through window so this may not be the answer.

Carl's Jr. is too messy to eat in your car so their drive through doesn't get much traffic and most people just go in and order and eat there. I still go there and have to wash mayo off me in their restroom. Love them Famous Star burgers with exta mayo.

We don't eat in any of our cars so don't go through drive windows. anyway ....

I think you need to change the name of this blog to "Samoa Obesity" or "Samoa Fatass"

Where is your review of all the fried food at the fair Richard? Surly you ate fried cheese wheels, corn dogs, ice cream... whatever you could get your hands on.

7:56am-I certainly wanted those curly fries and corn dogs when Robin and I were at the fair! The only problem is that I am diabetic and I would have to pay for that later. So I had nothing to eat there.

Went to the Chicken place once-
Had to go to KFC in Fortuna, the next time.(I would not recommend the place in Eureka to anyone).

The only fried chicken chain I like is Popeye's (love the Cajun red beans with rice too), which is why I'm grateful there isn't one in Humboldt County. Too tempting.

The last time I went to KFC was on Broadway years ago. I bit into a thigh and grease squirted across the table. Never went back.

I'm not much for fast food. Never have been. The burrito trucks are just as inexpensive, with better ingredients and real cooking, and almost as fast. But I do have a weakness for In-N-Out Burgers. I wonder why we don't have one in Humboldt County.

Hey Richard, do you like butter?

Ummmmm....the two KFC's have been closed for months now. The new Chiurch's is ok but so slow I cannot stand it. The other day I waited in the drive-thru for 30 min....only 4 cars ahead of me. I hope that they shape up there, but if you get the spicy chicken be sure you like it HOT because it surely is.
