The Times Standard did a good story on the portable toilets. Not a solution but a stop gap relief until the new trail with permanent toilets built and new solutions are created for the housepoor issue is addressed.

Thanks to the Harbor District for doing this.
Yes, thank you to the District for once again providing the much needed toilets.
As I understand the issue, you have purchased porta-potties because the company will no longer rent them for this problem. My question is who is going to clean them and take care of them?
Reading the article in the T-S, I understood fairly both sides that were presented. Given that at the end of the day this is an interim solution, it's a humane and environmentally appropriate necessity. Thank you.
Regardless on how you feel about what is going on in the Palco Marsh, placing porta-potties out there is common sense both on a humanitarian level and an environmental level.
So yes, thanks Harbor Commission for stepping up.
