Any updates Richard?
$1.2 billion as of now? That really means $10 billion since these estimates are never accurate due to inflation, union shakedowns, payola, etc. Good luck with this boondoggle.
Not much to update. BST gave presentation. Crowd asked questions. 1.2 Billion for East/West. 600 Million for North/South restoration.
Richard, might as well let you know now that Bear River once again has pulled back from the Heartlands Project due to ghosts of Leonard Bowman still ruling the Tribal Council. They jerked me around for 2 months before putting my Bear River Heartlands partner on the street homeless at age 57 and diagnosed with leukemia, that's what this TC does to those considered enemies of the Bowman dynasty. Bear River and Humboldt County's loss of tremendous economic development potential and Lakota's gain as now it looks like the Oglala are picking up the Heartlands Project.
North/South starting to sound like a bargain. ;)
I tell you that a solar powered monorail system could solve the Eel River canyon washout problem because of the track being mounted above the moving ground on pylons that could even be adjustable to shifting ground. Engineering ingenuity will solve the problem because the demand is always going to be there now. This isn't the 1800's where people were few and far between and I consider it highly irresponsible of Progs and enviros trying to block the inevitable development that comes with population growth. If you are not dealing with it now except by the very short-sighted and class war tactic of trying to stop ALL development by protesting against ALL development scenarios, you are only hurting your own next generation because you've failed create a workable green alternative social infrastructure that still provides the means of support for working families, the backbone of any community in Humboldt County, even pot growing communities.
Hey Richard. I'm pretty far out of the loop here. Where exactly does this train go? Is it Humboldt only? I've got a lot of catching up to do
From Gerber near Red Bluff to Samoa.
