I love how Arkely and Co. will not self fund these studies, rather they expect the government/taxpayers to foot the bill. Rather hypocritical wouldn't you say?
That is outrageous that Cal Trans would spend taxpayer money on this fraud.
Is there a state Grand Jury?
Dave Hull just keeps feeding at the gov't troughs, doesn't he?
If it was'nt for grants humboldt would dry up and blow away, grants are for everyone to put in for and are asked for by all towns in our county and many of its peoples. To mention the Arkley name in this manner only shows that this anonymous person has a axe to grind and is part of the problem of humboldt government. This is whats wrong with government,to much name dropping and not enough discussion of facts and the ability to work things out---------
They can study the damn thing to death but it will never pencil out
I am very proud of the Harbor Commission for offering to help with the matching funds for the feasibility study. This was completely unsolicited, and solely the district's decision.
I would like to make one correction to the blog. Being the one that announced to the Board last night about the grant, I am not a member of the harbor working group.
The reason I announced it last night was because of my participation in the Harbor District's Economic Development Committee, along with my advocacy for the feasibility study..
