Next year if your friend doesn't have insurance it will cost even more. Every year you skip getting insurance they give you a bigger penalty.
Does your friend expect others to pay his bill if he's ever hospitalized? If so, that's very irresponsible!
Obamacare should be affordable for most. Mine used to cost $61.00 a month, but it was raise to around $82.00. Doesn't cover everything, for sure. We've got hospital bills sitting here for over $8,000. Not sure how we're going to deal with them.
I might add, you think single payer would be cheaper. They've already raisded Obamacare premiums. What makes you think SP would be any different? And you'd hsve even less choice with Sp than you do with Obamacare.
