Robin and I went to watch
Into the Wild Movie at the Minor the other day and parked across from Los Bagels. We were early so we killed time at the
Tin Can Mailman Used Books store. The movie was nearly 2 and a half hours long (And sadly tragic by the way) and we were parked in 2 hour parking. Luckily we did not get a ticket. How or where can you park legally and watch an afternoon movie?
How strict are the parking enforcements during the weekend? I do not think they ticket on a Sunday. Most of the parking restrictions end by 6 p.m. Unless you are going to a mid-week matinee(? compulsive proofreader where are you?), then finding parking in proximity should be the only problem.

park one block to the west of los bagels and there is no time limit.
ReplyDeleteI don't get out to watch films much. But, I did see Into The Wild this past week. Reminded me of many of the Urban Travelers in and around Arcata and Garberville.
ReplyDeleteNo parking ticket for me. Parked just around the corner next to Redwood Lanes...er, The Red Pepper Disco, no Mojos. or is it Tsunami's, Er, wait...The International Beer Garden...or Humboldt Brewery no, Humbrews...that's it.
SAMOA, I get the feeling you are like most Americans: you can't imagine walking more than one block.
ReplyDelete3:23-Oh, yes. Bite me. I can walk an extra block! I think. No, I know. Well, maybe. Maybe not. OK, I give up. You are right. Next time I park at the COOP!
