Bev's is closing! Say it ain't so!
The Eureka Reporter - Article What am I going to do? Where else in Eureka can you get a gut-buster breakfast of this magnitude? I was willing to put up with the inconsistent service for the mega portions. I did hate the times they "ran out" of essential breakfast stuff like, oh potatoes, chicken fried steaks, bacon and whatever they were short on for that particular day. Not the best managed place, but I miss it much already. You have to remember my rule, "quantity over quality." Back to the Woods Boss at Stanton's!

This is sad news. Bev is as hard-working a person as you'll ever meet. I wish her well and will miss her.
Rumor has it Bev's biggest customer has been working 90 hour weeks. Not enough time to go eat I guess.
Richard, I thought you were on a diet anyway. How about a banana and a bowl of Raisin Bran?
Another alternative is to head down to Golden Harvest and get their full order of biscuits and gravy. That should satisfy both quantity and quality. But anon 9;22 is right. Combine eating like that and 90 hour weeks and you will help keep Sanders in business, and I don't mean the Colonel.

It was the Arkleys; they like quality, not quantity.

I have always had a freak food thing.
I had a ravenous appetite when I was a youth. At Zane middle school I weighed around 68 lbs. But at breakfast (and I have plenty of family and friend witnesses) I would eat 5 eggs with 8 pieces of toast (heavily buttered)and huge mounds of hashbrowns and sausage AND bacon. And a few glasses of milk to down it. (My mom worked swing shift, so I knew it was feast or famine. When I was 6 through 11 years, we had a serious lack of food in our house. I worked for food at 7 years old on a farm. Oh forget the sob story.)
Most other breakfasts I would have 12 pieces of French Toast. And bowls of cereal in mass portions.
I graduated high school at around 100 lbs. I was in my late twenties when I gained over 100 lbs in a few year span. I maxed out at 250 lbs at 45.
I still have this meal thing going. I am not proud of it, but I obviously have some weird eating dis-order.
Bev's was the absolute best for breakfast.

I dont know 3:48 I am still wondering if someone really said that Bevs was the absolute best breakfast. Are you kidding me? Or have you just never eaten any where else before?
Never ate at Bev's. I prefer the banana and Raisin Bran breakfast.
Richard-get counseling. There isn't a lack of food anymore and you are not starving. You probably weren't starving when you were 7. But anyway, eat healthy-live long! Being rejected as a supervisor once doesn't mean anything-there is always another day as long as you're still here!
7:41-I wasn't rejected, I just was not chosen. I ran against two very well funded, high profile politicians with name recognition that gave them a running head start.
I would win in a buffett eating contest with either Bonnie or Nancy though! Got to find victories where you can.
