  1. Does this mean that jobs are coming soon? But you just got elected.

No need for a water rate increase I guess.

  7. If anyone at Freshwater Tissue is interested in developing more salable utilitarian products made from wood pulp than just tissue paper, our Heartlands Project had ideas for such when we were in talks with Evergreen Pulp in 2005.

Is there an agreement or just the offers and counter that were proffered on Thursday?

The 10 year deal was contingent on the 5 year reopener and the bifurcation of the energy costs.

So did they get that deal done?

  10. I've done this before, posted ideas for expanding the product base of a revived Pulp Mill business here and you'd think someone involved with reviving the Pulp Mill would respond. But it never happens. Not interested is the conclusion I must draw which seems odd and shortsighted when the Pulp Mill project needs all the help it can get from the community.

  11. Stephen: Call the mill and see what you can get done. All of the players are from south of Fortuna!
