Past AWPPW Local 67 Simpson Pulp worker Clark Hogan passes away.
Clark E. Hogan Jr., 66, Caldwell, Idaho died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, at home. Cremation arrangements are by Flahiff Funeral Chapel. 459-0833. Clark was a softballer and avid hunter. Went way too young.
Clark Hogan and Pat Hogan were my parents, who both died at a young age. Just to set the record straight, my mother passed away from a severe asthma attack and not cancer. My dad died unexpectedly at home from a massive heart attack. My dad asked to be cremated if and when something happened to him. We released his ashes on January 10th in Marsing Idaho over the Snake River. At his request we are holding a memorial celebration of his life at Eagle Island in Meridian Idaho on the Fourth of July (one of his favorite holidays). We have established a webpage in his memory at www.clark-hogan-jr.memory-of.com for those interested in leaving messages or to find out more info on his memorial. Thanks to all for the kind words, also I think Swanner is in Anderson or Redding.
Rich,

I really liked Clark Hogan. He would stop into Two Street Music to talk to Rus Krause and the place became Floyd's Barbershop whenever Clark appeared.
ReplyDeleteYou may remember his wife Pat who worked at the Works for Larry Glass and passed from cancer at a very young age.
A bit more of old Humboldt has passed.
Have fun at OH's night club Rambo.
