I can't find the
LTE that Richard did a while back on the
NFL Network and the cable rip off to us local football fans. Wouldn't you know that
tonight's Packer/Cowboy game will not be available to us normal cable subscribers! Both teams at 10-1 and this could be a game for the ages. May have to go to Bear River to watch. Anyone out there know where else you can watch this game?
Isn't Richard Salzman always right?
ReplyDeleteRichard, welcome to the legion of "prog" minions! We are happy to have you and your fellow sports fans! I will report back to comrade Salzman with the glorious news of your conversion!
ReplyDeleteThe mighty fist of the football loving proletariat will crush the capitalist pig-dogs who seek to limit our television sporting event consumption!
Is it on at the Red Lion?
ReplyDeleteYou can also go to this page.... http://www.nfl.com/live?campaign=ma_fan0136&refcode=nfl-ed_1127NL
....and watch it online. I'll probably listen to it on satellite radio.
My friend has a dish.
ReplyDeletePat Bowlen, owner of the Denver Broncos was not at all sympathetic to those fans who did not have access to NFL Network. Last year, in response to questions about how fans could see the game on Thanksgiving Evening, he simply said"
"get a Dish!"
so, we dish less fans suffer.
-boy
I'd bet that the AA has it on.
ReplyDeleteChanged my mind and went to Arcata-Cardinal Newman game with my Buddy Perry. Two kids from the Peninsula played for Arcata, Timmy Couch and Dylan Kahle. Newman won the game and was led by some freshman guard that was skinny and played point. The kid had no turnovers and scored 18 I think. I will have to look at the paper. Incredible for a 14 year old? Now I will watch the Warriors if I can talk Robin out of the remote.
ReplyDeleteDamn, and I was hoping the corporate advertisers would have implanted more consumer images into your brain just prior to the holidays by watching that NFL game. Oh well, they'll get you on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteAlmost anyplace outside of Humboldt
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see that Salzman and Marks are TACKLING (get it?) the big issues these days.
