My fellow workers that keep that mill running deserve more respect than you are giving. I sure hope you are not a fellow worker, and if you are, come identify yourself or you are a coward of the worse kind. You can go ahead and say I am a blowhard, and I will agree to a point, but I am identified and transparent.samoasoftballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06244238117702878406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30719375.post-29290319766588344202007-11-14T21:38:00.000-08:002007-11-14T21:38:00.000-08:007:13pm-Yes, the same CEO who proposed a 15% that I...7:13pm-Yes, the same CEO who proposed a 15% that I publically was against and voted "no" on.

The same CEO whom I told I was going to try to organize a Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) buyout and he agreed to give financial information for the attempt. He (Steve Fleischer) told me the ESOP was bad idea but he would share information. I contacted the AWPPW headquarters for direction, contacted legal counsel who specialized in ESOP's, Banks that financed ESOP's. I was just trying to organize a meeting to take place concerning our options to be held at "our" union hall. Workers loudly rebelled at the idea after the CEO all the sudden did a 360' and wanted to lead the ESOP. Then it got ugly and our local did not want to explore any possiblity of an ESOP.

The same CEO that led the company (Stockton Pacific) that I motioned on our union floor to file Labor charges for violation of the "Warn Act." One of the arguments against my motion was the fact that Stockton Pacific was bankrupt. But later Humboldt County sued and won a $250,000 judgement against that same CEO and company.

That fill in some of your voids, "anonymous?"samoasoftballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06244238117702878406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30719375.post-21772424653426444712007-11-14T19:13:00.000-08:002007-11-14T19:13:00.000-08:00Is this the same CEO that you had regular communic...Is this the same CEO that you had regular communication with after he screwed the entire community and the workers that you now claim to represent? I seem to recall you also talking with him about a employee buyout with out the support of your union. Seems to me Evergreen is looking for qualified workers to move your mill into the future and get away from the culls that they can't get rid of after 30 years. I am sure your management team veiws you as most of your voters do, one giant blowhard.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30719375.post-35186087672284414102007-11-14T16:26:00.000-08:002007-11-14T16:26:00.000-08:00Maybe you could get Fred Mangels a job.
