My husband picked up some folding sawhorses and I stocked up on blueberry plants and got the last little potted cilantro which a clerk helped me to find. btw there were clerks all over the place helping people and the garden dept is stocked with many knowledgable folks-can't beat 'em.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30719375.post-8963362172840413982007-04-14T20:27:00.000-07:002007-04-14T20:27:00.000-07:00I was there today. I shopped in four different places (lumber yard, plumbing, garden shop, and electrical), found the items I wanted in stock and got outstanding service in all four places. This is a very well run business.Haydukehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14697176247189778122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30719375.post-77051138483016429172007-04-14T11:23:00.000-07:002007-04-14T11:23:00.000-07:00I think a Trader Joes would be excellent for Humbo...I think a Trader Joes would be excellent for HumboldtAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30719375.post-2356928922083016922007-04-14T10:46:00.000-07:002007-04-14T10:46:00.000-07:00See...let the market decide. Actually, I've heard rumors that the Valley West and McKinleyville Ray's are holding up the Eureka Ray's end of things. I can see why too. There is never anyone in the Ray's in Eureka. The market has chosen. Yet, the Pierson maintained Winco is packed to the gills. And I would imagine the new and improved Eureka Natural Foods will also affect Ray's Food Place as food buying habit's on the North Coast change with the tastes of the ever changing Humboldt Nation.

Pierson's Building Center will possibly have to recreate itself. But, the Piersons are good business people and will do just fine. And possibly a Home Depot will fail.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30719375.post-89751632534563877092007-04-14T08:58:00.000-07:002007-04-14T08:58:00.000-07:00Sunday mornings at 9 AM is a quiet time to shop at...Sunday mornings at 9 AM is a quiet time to shop at Piersons.
