Mob Crowd gathers in Samoa! Swat and police gather to quell crowd. Where is the news?

Robin and I came home Sunday night and seen the fence by our house was knocked down. We were wondering what had happened. My next door neighbor reported that a Samoa resident had been on some "binge" and jumped in his van and proceeded to ram his van into other vehicles and property all over Samoa. Residents in Samoa followed his path of destruction and the van as he plowed into houses, cars, fences and finally a fire hydrant. The water from the hydrant literally washed the foundation from one house and left others damaged. The mob followed him to his house that he shared with 3 other males and called for his head out of the house or they were coming in to take him. The other 3 brought him out and SWAT and the Sheriffs department took him away. He was an undocumented resident and his case is pending. This has brought forth the subject of multiple Latino residents packing many people into homes in Samoa. Many may be workers at Sun Valley Farms.

Where is the INS?

Undocumented resident? I would say that he is a documented lawbreaker and illegal immigrant.

The Times- Standard had the story on the back of its A section. It's also available online. It's the second of two incidents reported on.

When one of my friends called and told me what was going on I said I guessed it was meth heads or a border swimmer

We can thank Nancy Pelosi and the
rest of her team that continue to
allow illegals into this country.
That includes the HCDCC.
Maybe the unemployed pulp mill
workers can go to work at Sun
Valley. I'm sure they have a job
there for you Richard.

Reason Magazine takes a look at one of America's safest city that's full of immigrants: El Paso, Texas.

Where is the link to the TS story, Fred?

It makes sense to me since breaking the law would ensure that they deal with authorities. This, however, does point out that there is no correlation between poverty and crime, which liberals have been trying to say for years. It also shows that there is no relation between gun ownership and crime since the town has such lax gun control laws.

I don't know what this has to do with this issue, however, since nobody said or has ever said that illegals are inherently more violent. That doesn't mean, however, that if this guy hadn't been here illegally this episode would not have happened.

You have to love how extreme left-wingers don't ever want to use the illegal immigrant label, no matter how factual. They instead use the term "immigrant" or "undocumented worker", throwing them in the same class as those that play by the rules and aren't law breakers. Of course, the left likes to decide what laws are just and which are unjust based upon ideaology rather than truth.

I hear that they are passing out pink slips at the Humboldt Creamery in anticipation of the new company coming in. I bet it is so they can make them all re-apply for their jobs and get rid of who they want without regard for seniority. I hope this doesn't lead to another huge batch of lost jobs here. That would be tragic.

Finally someone with some sense. That entire sand dune needs to be razed.

FUNNY:

"We can thank Nancy Pelosi and the rest of her team that continue to allow illegals into this country. That includes the HCDCC."

So it's your own damned fault Richard.

Now now Rambo, we all know the peninsula is filled dope dealers, money launderers and housewives who feel their bodily orifices are the only way to make money.

6:36am-The HCDCC do not agree with every liberal agenda idea that you seem to love to imply. We are a diverse group of Humboldt County Democrats that share the same "core values" and are organized better than our local Republican cohorts. So people take pot shots and lump us all as one. I am not thrilled with Pelosi, just for the record.

If this is true can you name a cause or core belief that you, at the HCDCC have, that is out of step with the leftist agenda in this country. We can describe ourseves however we wish in order to try and get more credibility but the truth is in ones' actions, not ones words.

But it wasn't stated th peninsula, it was said the sand dunes. The sand dunes didnt cause the problem so razing them won't make it go away. Just go elsewhere, maybe your backyard? Fix the issue not the location

I'm so glad I have nothing to do with Samoa anymore.
