Mobile Dent Repair in Arcata.

Robin and I went to the Uniontown Safeway today after walking Smokey at the Arcata Marsh. We were driving our 98' Tracer with over 210,000 miles and two pretty big dents from past children. A truck pulled up behind us and this young guy with family in his truck asked me if I wanted my dents fixed. The car has already been totaled, so I carry a salvage title, but I was curious on what he was proposing. He said he could fix the dent I had in the front and back for $60 while I shopped at Safeway. I took him up on his offer and within 45 minutes he had done a respectable job. He said he was from Arizona and was looking for a place here in Humboldt. His name is Kevin and his Number is 358-1212 if you have any dents you want fixed. If that number does not work, just drive to the Uniontown shopping center and look for a white truck with advertisement to fix dents. Tell him Richard sent you.

Funny. No he was not. And neither is the guy who washes my windows for money. If people are out there trying to just get by, I try to give them help, not just a hand out.

By the way, I was shopping at Safeway, a UNION store!

Rick-Give me a break man. It is a work car!

Safeway AKA Vons, used to be a good union job with bennies, but not anymore. The union at safeway and vons now is worthless.

Nice story though.

Most likely undocumented, did you get a green card? Did he wash your windshield? Doing dents waiting for the outdoor to dry so he can make some real good cash that contributes to the economy in not a single way!!! Congrats you just became part of the problem!!! Now go poop so I can go pay Jose and hose b 35 bucks to do my lawn and make love to Maria when she is done cleaning my house!!!

6:25am-The guy was white as the driven snow. Caucasian. Are you profiling?

One reason the unions are weak (not the only reason) is union members who buy non-union products and services. But anymore, where does a person go to find union-made or even USA-made products?

8:08am-Kind of Ironic that the only Chinese owned manufaturing business in Humboldt County happens to employ nearly 200 union workers between the AWPPW and Longshoreman. Not only do they supply the highest wages, they supply more living wage jobs than any other manufacturing businesses in HC. Check it out.

That's true Richard, but have checked the wood chips for lead yet?

Richard, I saw that family when he asked if I wanted the minor dent on my Honda fixed. If I hadn't been in a hurry (and, more importantly, broke) I'd have considered it. Thanks for the heads-up.

I really loved reading your blog. It is very well authored and easy to understand. Unlike so many other blogs I have read which are really not that good. I also found your posts very interesting. In fact, after reading, I shared it with my friends and everyone liked it!
